Welcome to Pilates! Since 1993, FAC has maintained a state-of-the-art Pilates studio, and is proud to offer this very effective exercise method to its members. Pilates is one of the fastest growing forms of exercise in the world. In the US, Pilates participants have grown in number from 1.7 million in 2000 to 10.5 million in 2004, more than 500% in 4 years!

Pilates is a resistance training, injury prevention and recovery program that focuses primarily on  building core strength. One of the most wonderful aspects of Pilates is that it can be adapted to meet anyone's needs, from the therapeutic/ rehabilitation client to the professional athlete. For most of the participants in our program, Pilates is a superior addition to an exercise program involving weight training, yoga, swimming or any of the many exercise modalities FAC has to offer.
